About
SwitzerHealth.

A technology-enabled clinical services company built around continuous, contactless monitoring and timely clinical interpretation. Quiet clinical intelligence, settled into every kind of senior home.

Our story

The mountain ridges became our vital lines.

The snowy peaks became our measure of precision. Thinking in generations became our way of caring. The name became our promise: SwitzerHealth.

We are a clinical services company. We monitor residents continuously without a camera, without a wearable, and without asking anything new of the people who care for them. A licensed clinical team reads what the sensors find and turns it into something a nursing or wellness team can act on.

What the name carries

An imagined portrait of Johann Switzer, a Swiss-heritage physician figure, standing before the snow-covered peaks of the mountain West.
What Johann Switzer would have looked like today, two centuries later. Figures like him stand as symbols of a tradition of Swiss-heritage physicians in the mountain West, the spirit the name reaches toward.

The brand is written as one word: Switzer in charcoal, Health in red. The Swiss-American mountain West has a long history of careful, dignified medical practice in small towns where the next clinic was three hours away. That history is the inheritance of the name: an early American figure such as Johann Switzer, the kind of Swiss-born physician who carried precision and quiet attention across a continent into the kinds of places where there was no one else to do the watching.

The connection is to a way of working: patient, exact, present without being loud. That is the spirit the name carries. Not a biography.

What we do today

SwitzerHealth installs a small radar sensor in each resident room and the clinical team at Switzer Medical PC reads what those sensors produce. The radar measures heart rate, respiratory rate, and movement continuously. There is no camera, no audio, and nothing on the resident's body.

The interpretation is what arrives at the community: a timely clinical intelligence report, short enough to read, specific enough to act on. The community hires no new staff and changes no existing workflows. The clinical service runs on top of an FDA 510(k) cleared radar sensor platform.

We work across six categories of senior care: skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, independent living, life plan communities (CCRC), and home health for residents aging in place. The clinical delivery model is the same across categories. The reimbursement frame and the operator vocabulary are not.

Who reads the data

The clinical work is delivered by Switzer Medical PC. Our clinical leadership brings experience across hundreds of senior care communities nationwide, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, memory care, independent living, life plan communities, and home health programs. The leadership team holds active multi-state licensure across the western and southern United States and is credentialed to operate clinical programs in additional states as the company expands.

The team has spent its career inside the kinds of communities you operate. Not next to them. Inside them. That is the experience set the timely clinical intelligence reports come out of.
